Turkish Traditional Art: Nazar Boncuk-Evil Eye

A nazar, lucky eye or evil eye stone (Turkish: nazar boncuğu) is an amulet that is meant to protect against the evil eye ("evil eye", from nazar and "amulet" from boncuğu). It is most common inTurkey. We painted pebbles using blue, white and black paints. Nazar Boncuks were exhibited during our Mini-Exhibition when we invited parents to share our knowledge.
